Niche Pokemon Characters

Niche Pokemon characters are trainers and NPCs that players remember from one game, not the species in the dex. Miror B. is the shape of the list: a Cipher admin in Colosseum who wanders in XD. Every row on this page is a single wiki source until a second page is opened.

People, not Pokemon

A species page and a person page answer different searches. Skitty is a Pokemon. A gym guide, a Cipher admin, or a contest rival is a character. Mixing them makes a thin encyclopedia. This table stays on people: name, game, role, and a one-line reason the character is obscure.

Bulbapedia is the only source I could read for these fourteen names. The status column says “1 source” on purpose. I am not upgrading a wiki paragraph into a second confirmation by restating it. If a debut year was missing on that page, it is missing here. Species with a competitive niche stay on the niche pokemon list. Games those characters appear in are named on niche pokemon games when the game itself is a spin-off.

FAQ

Who is a niche Pokemon character?

A trainer or NPC tied to one side game or one story beat. Miror B. from Colosseum and XD is the example I would give first. The table has fourteen, each marked as one source.

Why is there no second source?

A second independent page was not available for these names when the table was built on 5 Nov 2026. The status column stays at one source instead of a guessed corroboration.
